Lasham Gliding Society is the largest gliding club in the world and has recently hosted the 19th FAI European Gliding Championships.
With sister clubs in Europe and Australia, all run by ex Lasham instructors, the society is one of the most influential and respected in the world of gliding.
Their primary goal is to support the sport, broaden the appeal of gliding and introduce new people to the community of pilots that love this fascinating and appealing past time.
Through the English Gliding Team we were invited to put together some promotional material for the club and document the Euro Championships.
Focusing on the clubs efforts to promote the sport and bring on young talent we wanted to tell individual stories and connect this with the wider goals of the society.
